V-Reset Thread Lift
V리셋 실리프팅A non-incisional lift that anchors sagging tissue to the SMAS fascia with medical threads. For early laxity of the cheeks and jawline, when surgery is more than you need.

What is fascia-fixed thread lifting
Fascia-fixed thread lifting uses specially designed medical threads to draw sagging subcutaneous tissue and the SMAS layer (the superficial fascia that supports the face) upward, and to hold it there. Nothing is cut and no skin is removed.
Because the threads are anchored at the fascia rather than in the skin alone, the lift is designed to soften folds, improve firmness and tidy the outline of the face at the same time. The threads also stimulate collagen production, so the skin is encouraged to regenerate in the months that follow.
V-Reset is the clinic's name for this approach. It sits between energy-based tightening and a surgical facelift: more mechanical support than heat alone can give, without the recovery that surgery asks of you.
Why patients choose a thread lift
Medical threads, no incision. The lift is achieved with threads designed for placement in tissue, without cutting or removing skin.
Little disruption to the tissues. Because nothing is cut, the concerns that accompany surgery (scars, tissue trauma and a longer recovery) are largely avoided.
Helps prevent further sagging. As collagen builds and the skin firms, it is better supported against further descent.
An efficient procedure. Experience across a wide range of cases keeps the technique consistent and the treatment time short.

Who is this for
- 01
Early signs of aging
Patients in their twenties and thirties who notice the first softening of the cheek or the jawline.
- 02
Surgery is not what you want
Those who would like a visible lift without incisions or a surgical recovery.
- 03
Firmness and contour together
Those who want firmer skin and a cleaner facial outline from a single treatment.
- 04
Starting early
Younger patients who would rather slow the progression of laxity than wait for it to become established.
What thread lifting addresses

Sagging cheeks
Lifting the descending cheek softens the folds that aging creates and returns a more rested expression.

Skin firmness
The collagen response stimulated by the threads increases the firmness and density of the skin over time.

Facial outline
Reducing a double chin and cheek sagging brings back a clearer, more defined line to the lower face.
What makes V-Reset here different
- SPECIAL 01

A plan for one face
Skin elasticity, fat distribution and the areas that have descended are analyzed in detail before a lifting plan is proposed.
- SPECIAL 02

A lift that reaches the fascia
The threads engage tissue from the shallow layers down to the SMAS fascia and hold it in place, which gives a firmer lift than threads placed in the skin alone.
- SPECIAL 03

Immediate lift, quick recovery
A tightening effect is felt immediately after treatment. Collagen regeneration then adds firmness and density in the weeks and months that follow.

What to expect: consultation, treatment and aftercare
- STEP 01
Consultation
Your doctor examines the skin, the distribution of fat and where the tissue has descended, and discusses whether threads, an energy device, a combination or surgery is the right answer for what you want to change.
- STEP 02
Planning
The direction of lift, the number of threads and their entry points are mapped on the face. The aim is a natural line of support, not a visible pull.
- STEP 03
Treatment
The threads are introduced through small entry points and anchored at the fascia. Most patients feel the tightening effect straight away and leave the clinic the same day.
- STEP 04
Aftercare
Mild swelling, tenderness or a pulling sensation are usual in the first days and settle over time. We advise on sleeping position, chewing and skin care while the threads settle, and the collagen response develops over the following months.
Frequently asked questions
- Q1
How long does the effect last?
The threads provide an immediate mechanical lift, and the collagen they stimulate continues to firm the skin for some time afterward. How long the result holds varies with age, skin quality and lifestyle, so we discuss realistic expectations for your face in consultation rather than quoting a fixed figure.
- Q2
Will it look natural?
That is the intention. The lift is planned along the natural vectors of the face and anchored at the fascia, so the change reads as a rested version of your own features. Restraint matters as much as lift: knowing how much to move is part of the plan.
- Q3
Is a thread lift a substitute for a facelift?
No. Threads suit early laxity and patients who want to avoid surgery. Once sagging of the lower face and neck is established, a facelift or a neck and double chin lift repositions tissue more comprehensively. Dr. Jeong will tell you candidly which is appropriate.
- Q4
Can it be combined with other treatments?
Often. Energy-based tightening such as Ultherapy PRIME, Thermage FLX or ONDA works on the skin and fat layers in a different way, and skin boosters improve texture and hydration. See Skin Tightening & Lifting and Skin Boosters & Regeneration.
- Q5
When can I return to work?
Most patients return to their usual routine quickly. We ask you to avoid pressure on the treated area and strenuous facial movement while the threads settle, and we give you a timeline for your case at the consultation.
